Why to advertise on the site

Since the day the site opened (July 2005), the number of unique visitors per day is still increasing. While on the beginning there were only a few hundred of unique visitors per day, the last months the number has significantly increased and is still climbing up! Especially with the new website layout, this number is expected to go at least %50 up! The most important thing though is that the visitors are not just seeing the index page and then leave the site, but they do navigate through many pages of the site, creating millions of hits per month.

Where will the ads be placed

Through out the site there are many placement options. I have choosen some of them and I have added a red banner on each one, to indicate that this space will be used for one of your ads. Except from those places, you can suggest a new one and we will find a solution for your placement.

What ad sizes and formats are supported

Thanks to the new website layout there are many ad sizes that can be placed. Some of the standar ones are:
235x60 px
468x60 px
728x90 px
120x240 px
120x600 px
160x600 px
250x250 px
Except from those sizes, any custom sized ad can be supported (if there is a space to fit of course) and I will try to find a solution to place it.
As for the format both images (jpg, gif and png) and flash ads are supported.

How long can the ad be placed

Starting from one month, the ads can be displayed for as long as you desire! You can try the first month and judging from the traffic you can decide. If you believe that there is not much traffic driven to your site from the banners, you can ask for the ads to be removed.

How much does it cost

The cost of an ad is extremely low and affordable for anyone. Use the table below to find exactly how much it would cost for an ad.

For 3 banners (one on the site main page, on the community main page and one in the images main page) on predifined places for 6 months: $36

For 2 banners (on the main page and on the blog main page) for 2 months: $6
