Dear Member,
4 months have passed since the last newsletter (Christmas 2005) and I am very happy to present you the new website layout (as I have promised in the last newsletter). The new version contains much more information regarding Anna Kournikova, her activities, the news regarding her and more. Any comments for corrections or improvements are always welcomed through the feedback form.
In the last newsletter I was really excited about the visitors/page views as in 5 months more than 23,000 people had visited the website. This time I am much more than just excited! The last 3,5 months (since the last newsletter) we had more than 65,000 visitors with million page views and hits. The images database now has more than 2,650 HQ images, which have been viewed more than 137,000 times!
What's New
Apart from the general new layout of the site, many new things were added or updated:
- News:
1) Added search capability to the news page in order find the news entry you wish.
2) Created the news archive where the entries are stored by month and can be accessed easily.
3) Changed the news entries layout adding a thumbnail image (when available), a "leave comment" and a "send to friend" feature.
- Site News & Updates:
1) Created the "Site News & Updates" page, with search and archive features like the news page
- Calendar:
1) Added the Calendar in the index page in order to be easier to keep track of Anna and the events she is taking place.
2) Added a preview of next month and a year ago link.
3) Allow visitors to suggest a missing event though a simple form.
- Quiz, Polls, Chat:
1) Updated the chat page adding the ability to use your default irc client (recommented)
2) Created a quiz page with questions on Anna and a Polls page with various polls.
- Advertise:
1) Allow webmasters that wish to promote their websites, to add their banners on KournikovaImages.com with very low cost
- Videos:
1) Added a videos page, where videos of Anna Kournikova are uploaded and fans can download them, leave a comment or send them to a friend. Browising the videos by Category, Size and Date is available. Currently 10 videos available (450MB) but more are added every week.
All the latest
The new website layout allows visitors to have all the latest information on Anna on their screen by just visiting the index page. Latest news, images, videos, community topics, blog entries and calendar events are all nicely placed on the homepage. For those who wish to learn even faster the news, the RSS/XML feed is their solution. It includes all the latest Anna Kournikova news, along with an image and a link to read further on each entry.
Advertise
Fellow webmasters that wish to promote their websites are welcomed to use the free spaces on KournikovaImages.com in order to add their banners and increase traffic to their site. Since making money is not my point, just a help with the running cost, the prices are very low ($3/month!!!) and many placement options are available. Read further on the advertise page.
Link Exchange (Affiliates)
In order to help fellow webmasters to promote their sites, we have created the affiliates list.
The order of appearance of the links is random! Also 4 links of this list are randomly choosen to appear on the website's index page!

Send to a friend
This feature is available in both the news and videos pages and allows visitors to send the news article or video to a friend along with an optional comment. The article/video will arrive as en e-mail message to your friend and include everything you want him/her to know. It is really simple to use, just click on the "Send to a friend" link next to every news article or video!
Feedback
In the new version of the site is much more easier for a visitor to contact the webmaster for any matter as there is a feedback link on the footer of every page. Through the feedback form you can reach the webmaster and ask for anything you want help with.
Apart from the feedback form, the guestbook is available to leave your comments on the website. I am taking really seriously every comment and I would like to hear more opinions, so feel free to write (you can write anonymously if you like to) a comment. An e-mail or a private message on the community board is also welcomed at any time!
Summer Surprises
In Christmas 2005 newsletter I promised for upgrades and surprises to the website and all came true. The same thing will happen this summer as well... Not saying more at the moment but stay close to KournikovaImages.com!
